Responsible for seeking out, interviewing, screening, and hiring applicants, either in person or by telephone, to fill existing and future job openings. A Recruiter must be thoroughly familiar with the hiring company and the available position, including such information as benefits, salary, work conditions, and opportunity for advancement. A person in this position must also be knowledgeable about various aspects of the law regarding hiring and interviewing practices. A Recruiter may also be asked to promote career opportunities and human resource policies and practices within an organization.
